Tim commenced with mta optima in August 2008. He has a background in banking, previously working with Elders Rural Bank, Commsec and HSBC Bank Ltd (Australia) as a Senior Relationship Manager and in Private Banking. After spending many years travelling and then working in Melbourne, Tim and his family made the move back to Ballarat.

Tim’s role within the business is to take a lot of the day-to-day functionality of the firm away from Matthew and the senior staff. He works closely with the team to ensure that the business is constantly challenging itself to ensure that it’s delivering highly effective outcomes for its customers. His role involves review and implementation of strategies for the business, system & workflow improvements, overseeing management of staff, firm marketing and building on customer relationships.
